About Kirsten

As a child, she dreamed of becoming a writer. Or a dancer. Or maybe even an actress. As long as she could tell stories and express her creativity.

Kirsten van Stenis grew up in a bilingual household, with an English mother and a Dutch father. Her love for language runs deep, strengthened by a master’s degree in English Literature and a master’s in Education. For over 14 years, she enjoyed teaching English literature, guiding young people through the power of words and stories. Before that, she spent several years working at the Rabobank’s telephone centre and in the marketing and communications department, where she followed various voice and communication training courses and discovered just how powerful a voice can be. In fact, her very first voice-over project was for Rabobank back in 2010, more than 15 years ago!

But it all started on stage, in school musicals, singing, acting, and storytelling. Later came professional training in voice-over and voice acting, and today she happily works from her professional home studio for a wide range of clients.

That love for language, expression, and imagination has never faded and now Kirsten gets to do what she loves most every single day: bringing stories to life through her voice! As a voice-over artist and voice actress, she helps others tell their stories. From warm, friendly narrations to energetic commercials and vibrant characters, her voice is versatile, naturally bilingual, and always ready to serve the story you want to tell.
